“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; but the foolish despise wisdom and instruction”..Proverbs 1:7
We live in a world of immense evil and mankind has yet to recognize the source of it. He wanders aimlessly, groping in the dark, looking for man-made solutions via ill-conceived governments and wars that many times lead to increased famines, poverty, death, persecution, drug abuse, sex-slave trading and every conceivable problem in the world.
Mankind has rejected it’s Maker and Source of true peace, prosperity and happiness.
To the other extreme, he has used religion – with principles and doctrines made up by man, not by God to persecute others who do not bow to their ideologies.
So to that end, many reject religion and feel God is not real or unfair – especially when all the tragedies are allowed to continue.
Where is He, why doesn’t He show Himself. The answers are complicated, but they are there.
The Way of God is not hard, but we make it hard – by our own flawed human reasonings.
Each so-called religion has it’s own flaws, but at the core, each holds to certain underlying principles of not murdering, stealing, etc…..but yet, many wars have been fought in the name of religion.
So what is true and what is fiction, that my friends is the purpose of this blog.
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. And the sea no longer is.
And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of Heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her Husband.
And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God.
And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes. And there will be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying out, nor will there be any more pain; for the first things passed away.
And He sitting on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, Write, for these words are true and faithful.
And He said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who thirsts I will give of the fountain of the Water of Life freely.
He who overcomes will inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.
But the fearful, and the unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, will have their part in the Lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (Rev 21:1-8)
