On January 6th, it was reported that a new bus campaign started in Britain, posted on some 800 buses that read:  “There is probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.”

Organized by a a young comedienne named Ariane Sherine and sponsored in part by the Oxford zoologist Richard Dawkins, a leading British atheist and author of “The God Delusion“; it was amusing that there was no finality in the statement.

There has been a lot of attention being given to the new enlightenment of secular mankind or what I call the new religion, called “humanism”.

Humanism  simply defined: is a broad category of ethical philosophies that affirm the dignity and worth of all people, based on the ability to determine right and wrong by appealing to universal human qualities, particularly rationality.  Humanism can be considered as a process by which truth and morality is sought through human investigation. In focusing on the capacity for self-determination, humanism rejects transcendental justifications, such as a dependence on belief without reason, the supernatural, or texts of allegedly divine origin. Humanists endorse universal morality based on the commonality of the human condition, suggesting that solutions to human social and cultural problems cannot be parochial.

That’s a pretty cool religious statement to be a part of – of course I’m being facetious, but in reality it is nothing “new”, in fact this religion of humanism is as old as man himself.

The scriptures state in Judges 21:25  “In those days there was no king in Israel. Every man did what was right in his own eyes.”

And every man, apart from the Creator of Heaven and Earth, has been doing what is right in their own eyes throughout history.

I understand the humanists point of view, because they believe that the world’s religions have lead to nothing but chaos, death and disease – that without religion, the world would live in peace and everyone would free to express themselves and embrace “whatever felt right in the own eyes”  they, not God or a particular set of doctrines would be their standard of morality.

Now on the surface, that almost seems like it could work – but as we see in the secularized, howbeit “modern” societies of today, such as in Western Europe, Oceania and the Americas, we see that secularism has lead to an “increase” in murders, rapes, teen-age pregnancies, abortions, STDs, cancers and other health disease, robberies, family breakups and divorce, increased homosexual activities and other degenerative modes of behavior.

This in turn has lead to greed, an increased welfare state, bigger government and less, not more freedom – and is a direct cause of the global economic and political turmoils we see in these nations today.

On the other hand, those who practice and live by their faith, whatever brand it may be, for the most part, live more happier, healthier lives.

Unfortunately, the warring religious factions throughout the world and especially between the Islamic nations and Israel, have turned many people away from religious and into the embraces of humanism.

Instead of embracing the one true God, they have made themselves into god’s through self-indulgence and self-gratification.

For the unseen things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being realized by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, for them to be without excuse. Because, knowing God, they did not glorify Him as God, neither were thankful. But they became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools…Romans 1:20-22

What mankind has not yet learned, is that we live in a spiritual world and just as their exists good and evil in our physical world, there exists good and evil in the spiritual world – and it is evil’s intent, lead by Satan the devil, to divide, conquer, cause confusion, death and mayhem until we get to the point where we will bow and worship him.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world’s rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12

Satan is the god of humanism!

How you are fallen from the heavens, O shining star, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart, I will go up to the heavens, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north. I will go up above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High. Yet you shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the Pit. Those who see you shall stare and closely watch you, saying, Is this the man who made the earth to tremble; who shook kingdoms;  who made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed its cities; who did not open the house for his prisoners?  Isaiah 14:12-17

In time, mankind will understand that they have been coerced and deceived by this great spiritual being, but until then – he will grope about in the darkness, professing to be wise and understanding, not knowing that his actions and decisions are leading him to destruction.

This is why many in the world, especially the U.N. nations, hate Israel – a small, tiny little country the size of 1/2 the state of Florida, surrounded by millions of square miles of Islamic based, Arab countries – yet they are blamed for all the problems in the world.

Think about it, it doesn’t make any sense – yet it is true.

Why?

Because the world is deceived and influenced by Lucifer, Satan the devil – who deceives all of mankind.

In time, he will be put away, no longer able to deceive the world any longer.

And I saw an angel come down from Heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. And he cast him into the abyss and shut him up and set a seal on him, that he should deceive the nations no more until the thousand years should be fulfilled. And after that he must be loosed a little time.  Revelation 20:1-3

U.S. President-elect Obama preaches about “hope”, but there is only one true hope of mankind – when the Messiah, the King of Kings reigns supreme on this earth, Satan is put away and all death, disease and problem in the world we see today – are no more.

And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes. And there will be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying out, nor will there be any more pain; for the first things passed away. And He sitting on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, Write, for these words are true and faithful. Revelation 21:3-5

This is the true “hope” of mankind.

Ever since Israel withdrew completely from Gaza and Hamas took over control, Israel has been enduring daily rockets launched from Gaza into the surrounding communities.

What other nation would remove their own people from their land, hand it over to foreigners, supply their fuel, electric and food needs, yet in return be bombarded as a sign of thank you on a daily basis, endure it and yet if responded to are criticized by the majority of nations?

Only Israel.

Why is that?

Because as I stated before, we are in a spiritual war against principalities of darkness in high places that desire to destroy the people and the Land that God the Creator of Heaven and Earth says will never be destroyed.

To this end, the people of Gaza and those who live in the so-called West Bank are but pawns in a spiritual war, that will have no end, until the Messiah comes to setup His Kingdom and Throne on Mt. Zion and put away the Evil one, who deceives the whole world – HaSatan, Satan the Devil.

Many will laugh and scoff at those statements, but the scriptures are very clear….let’s examine some of them.

First of all, Abraham had two sons, Ishmael born of the Egyptian hand-maiden Hagar and Isaac, born of his wife Sarah.

God clearly told Abraham and Sarah that the Promise of Messiah would come from Isaac and that the Land from Kadesh-Barnea to the Euphrates (which includes all the West Bank, parts of Syria, up into modern day Iraq) would be given to his descendants. This was mostly fulfilled during the Kingship’s of David and Solomon.

In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, I have given this land to your seed, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates, the Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the giants, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites. (Genesis 15:18-21)

He also told Abraham that Ishmael would also be a great nation, a father of 12 princes and would be well taken care of. This too has come to pass, as most of the oil-rich Arab nations are descendants from Ishmael. But the Promise was given to Isaac.

And God said, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son indeed. And you shall call his name Isaac. And I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. And as for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall father twelve chiefs, and I will make him a great nation. But I will establish My covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this set time in the next year. (Genesis 17:19-21)

The issue here is that the later descendants of Ishmael and advocated by Mohammad is that they believe that Isaac’s descendants are not entitled to any promises or land that was clearly given to them by their father Abraham and confirmed by God Himself.

Hence we have had this epic battle, spurred on and inflamed by Satan the devil, who wants to thwart God’s plan and keep the Messiah from returning, who is going to remove him from his position on earth and setup God’s Kingdom. In other words, Satan is trying to save his behind here and doing everything possible to keep the true King from His throne.

Later and throughout it’s history, the children of Israel (Jacob’s name was changed to Israel and had 12 sons) lived in the Land in peace, as long as they kept God’s commandments. When they did not, He allowed their enemies to come in, conquer them and even lead them into captivity.

But there was always a remnant who obeyed and either stayed or later returned to the Land. It’s important to understand this, for it allows us to see the current circumstances in the Land more clearly.

And you, O My servant Jacob, do not fear, says Jehovah. Do not be terrified, O Israel. For lo, I will save you from afar, and your seed from the land of their captivity. And Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid. For I am with you, says Jehovah, to save you. Though I make a full end of all nations where I have scattered you, yet I will not make a full end of you; but I will correct you in measure, and will not leave you entirely unpunished. For so says Jehovah, Your break cannot be cured, and your wound is grievous. There is none to plead your cause; for your ulcer there are no healing medicines for you. All your lovers have forgotten you; they do not seek you. For I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the greatness of your iniquity; because your sins are many. Why do you cry over your crushing? Your pain is incurable, for the greatness of your iniquity; because your sins are many, I have done these things to you. So all those who devour you shall be devoured; and all your enemies, every one of them, shall go into captivity. And they who rob you shall be robbed, and all who strip you I will strip. For I will give health back to you, and will heal you of your wounds, says Jehovah; because they called you an outcast, saying, This is Zion; no one is seeking for her. So says Jehovah: Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and will have mercy on his dwelling places. And the city shall be built on her own hill, and the palace shall remain in its own place. And out of them shall come thanksgiving, and the voice of those who rejoice. And I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small. Also their sons shall be as they were before, and their congregation shall be established before Me, and I will punish all who ill-treat them.  And their rulers shall be of themselves, and their governor shall come from among them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach Me. For who is this who pledged his heart to come near to Me? says Jehovah.  And you shall be My people, and I will be your God.  Behold, the tempest of Jehovah’s wrath goes forth, a sweeping tempest; it shall whirl on the head of the wicked. The fierce anger of Jehovah shall not return until He has done it, and until He has fulfilled the purposes of His heart. In the latter days you shall understand it. (Jeremiah 30:10-24)

This is why the Jewish people have suffered many things and why today, many still have not yet fully grasped that obedience equals peace and safety. While many are now returning to God and Torah, many still in the Land are very secularized and the leaders are unwilling to trust in the God of their forefathers.

Yet God will not forsake His covenant with Abraham.

Then the Angel of Jehovah answered and said, O Jehovah of Hosts, how long will You not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah against which You have cursed these seventy years? And Jehovah answered the angel who talked with me with good words, comfortable words. So the angel who talked with me said to me, Cry out, saying, So says Jehovah of Hosts: I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy. And with great anger I am angry at the nations at ease; in that I was but a little angry, and they gave help for evil. Therefore so says Jehovah: I have returned to Jerusalem with mercies. My house shall be built in it, says Jehovah of Hosts. And a line shall be stretched over Jerusalem. Cry out again, saying, So says Jehovah of Hosts: My cities shall yet be spread abroad through good, and Jehovah shall again overflow with goodness, and Jehovah shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem. (Zechariah 1:12-17)

The good news is, that a time is coming when all this will be resolved and the future of mankind will live in peace and happiness.

Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion. For lo, I come, and I will dwell in your midst, says Jehovah. And many nations shall be joined to Jehovah in that day, and shall be My people; and I will dwell in your midst, and you shall know that Jehovah of Hosts has sent me to you. And Jehovah shall possess Judah, His portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again. Be silent, all flesh, before Jehovah; for He has risen out of His holy dwelling place. (Zechariah 2:10-13)

So keep in mind, that those who seek to conquer and divide the Holy Land are fighting against God Himself and their end, well – it’s not going to be too pleasant.

And the LORD shall be King over all the earth; in that day there shall be one LORD, and His name shall be one. And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the peoples who have fought against Jerusalem. Their flesh shall rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes shall rot in their sockets. And their tongue shall rot in their mouth. And it shall be, everyone who is left of all the nations which came up against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of Hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. (Zechariah 14:9, 12, 16)

A sad ending to those who oppose God, but what a wonderful world it will be then, with King Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah reigning on His throne…

I saw the heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it is called Faithful and True. In righteousness he judges and makes war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has names written and a name written which no one knows but he himself. He is clothed in a garment sprinkled with blood. His name is called “The Word of God.”  The armies which are in heaven followed him on white horses, clothed in white, pure, fine linen. Out of his mouth proceeds a sharp, double-edged sword, that with it he should strike the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He treads the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty. He has on his garment and on his thigh a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”  (Revelation 19:11-16)

….and Satan is put away, then all nations will be at peace with one another.

Yes, my friends true change is coming. Exciting days are ahead as Bible prophecies unfold before our very eyes!

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it. (John 1:1-5 NKJ)

As we celebrate the Feast of Dedication also called the Festival of Lights and Hanukkah, we are reminded that Yeshua (Jesus) is the true Light shining in the darkness of this world we live in.

For most certainly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the Torah, until all things are accomplished. Whoever, therefore, shall break one of these least mitzvot, and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. Let us strive to be like Him, being living sacrifices and lights to this dark world.

But wait a minute, many will say: yes we know pagan practices such as the Christmas tree, yule log, Santa Claus, mistletoe, elves, reindeer, etc all come from ancient Germanic/Celtic superstitions dealing with sun worship with their roots going all the way back to Nimrod – anciently called the Saturnalia – but we observe the birth of Christ, the Messiah and give gifts because the wise men came with gifts at His birth.

It is not the subject of this post to go through the history of how God’s Holy Days, observed by Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew) the Messiah, the Apostles and the early believers up to 325AD was changed to the pagan based religious holidays of Easter and Christmas.

Nor, how the Saturday Sabbath (Shabbat) was changed to Sunday (the day of the Sun).

What I would like to focus on is the question on why you believe what you do?

Jesus (Yeshua) Himself stated:

“This people draws near to Me with their mouth, and honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. But in vain they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” (Matthew 15:8-9)

How did this come to be?

One only need go back to the times of the Kings of Israel and Judah, when the Kingdom was split into two and the King of Israel, Jeroboam was scared that the people would return to the Kingdom of Judah when they went to observe God’s Feast Days. So he changed the days to other months and days, and setup idols for the people to worship instead. (You can read about that in 1Kings 11 and 12).

Soon after the Kingdom was conquered by the Assyrians and the people scattered all over the nations, taking this form of pagan worship with them, doing “what was right in their own eyes” – but not in God’s eyes. Eventually, this way of thinking made it’s way into the new world Churches, who again rejected God’s true Holy Days and made for themselves their own days to appease their followers….and we have been doing it ever since.

Did you ever stop to think, “why do so many people in the world hate Jews and blame them for all the world’s problems?”

The ancient Romans did this and has been passed through history to Hitler and even to today – when it’s the exact opposite, the Jewish people believe in doing good in the world, not evil.

Why?

The Apostle Paul sums it up nicely in his letter to the Ephesians:

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world’s rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)

Simply put, there is a spiritual world composed of God and His angels of righteousness; and of Satan, the evil one who tried to de-throne God and failed, and his demons who failed with him.

Just as there is a right way to worship God and He has setup certain Days of worship and celebration that bring true joy and peace to people’s lives, there is also a counterfeit system, setup by Satan, who wants to be worshipped like God, but his days are based on worldly lusts and desires that lead to emptiness and war.

Hence, you see the results evident in the world through wars, death, disease, heartaches, hatreds, lusts, murders, rapes, drug abuse, etc.

It’s time to frankly admit that, “man cannot find the way to true peace, nor can he govern himself apart from God!”

For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Romans 8:6)

My friends, it’s time to come out of darkness and into His glorious light – if you know a thing to not be true, then why accept it as truth and continue in it?

The Apostle Paul again sums it up nicely:

Because, knowing God, they did not glorify Him as God, neither were thankful. But they became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things. (Romans 1:21-23)

The Holy Days given by God were given to the Children of Israel, not to the Jews only. The Jews make up only two of the twelve children of Israel (Jacob), the other ten as mentioned above were eventually scattered throughout the nations.

Jesus (Yeshua) did not come to destroy those Holy Days and setup new ones.

The Church does not “replace” Israel, on the contrary we are “grafted into” the House of Israel – the whole house, all 12 tribes.

For if you were cut out of the natural wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree; how much more these being according to nature will be grafted into their own olive-tree? For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, lest you should be wise within yourselves; that blindness in part has happened to Israel, until the fullness of the nations has comes in.  And so all Israel shall be saved; as it is written, “There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob. (Romans 11:24-26)

The Holy Days outlined in Leviticus 23 represent God’s Master plan for mankind and have not been done away with and are not just for the Jews. They are for each and every believer of God and of Jesus (Yeshua) the Messiah.

The Jewish people have been commissioned by God to preserve and protect the Holy Scriptures, the Torah, for mankind – without them, we would be completely lost and we would have no understanding of God.

It is for this reason, that Satan hates them and seeks to destroy them in anyway possible – but God always delivers them from his hand.

My friends, the end times are upon us and new Holocausts will rise up. Do not be deceived, honor God and His true ways of life, not false, man made (influenced by Satan) ways of deception, that masquerade as light, but are filled with darkness.

Read His word, be led by it – not by man’s teaching, but by the Holy Spirit. Worship God in truth, for He is looking for such worshippers.

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to worship Him. (John 4:23)

Jesus (Yeshua) said that those who believe (are deceived) that they are keeping God’s command and worshipping Him in truth (i.e. Christmas, Easter and Sunday worship) will not be accepted by Him, even though they do great works and ministeries around the world.

Not everyone who says to Me, Lord! Lord! shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord! Lord! Did we not prophesy in Your name, and through Your name throw out demons, and through Your name do many wonderful works? And then I will say to them I never knew you! Depart from Me, those working lawlessness! Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock. (Matthew 7:21-24)

So when was Jesus really born and should we be celebrating His birth?

If it did, it would be specifically mentioned in the scriptures. Yes, it is important that He was born into the world, but it is more important on what He did and later died for, as portayed in the Passover sacrifice.

Many theologians have calculated that the true birth of the Messiah was either during the Feast of Tabernacles (which occurs in late September, early October) or during the Day of Pentecost, also called Shavuot, which occurs in the summer during late May, early June.

Both of these Feasts (as well as during Passover), the men living in Israel at that time were commanded to come up to Jerusalem to celebrate and bring offerings to God, it was a time of grand celebration. This is why there was “no room in the inns” when Mary and Joseph were in Bethlehem (just outside Jerusalem) because all the people were there for the Holy Day celebration.

Just last week, an astronomer in Australia was able to calculate that the planets of Venus and Jupiter may have been in direct alignment during the month of June and could have been the phenomenal sign of the bright star that the Magi saw.

Perhaps, you may want to use this season to observe the day that Jesus observed during His life on earth, the Feast of Dedication or Hanukkah, a time of rededication of the Temple after it had been defiled.

And the Feast of Dedication took place at Jerusalem, and it was winter. And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s Porch. (John 10:22-23)

May the Lord lead you into all truth.

After WWI (1914-1918), lead to a post-war booming peacetime era of consumerism during the 1920’s called the Roaring 20’s.  America and soon after many other nations of the world, notably in Western Europe were booming, GDP growth was growing at a record pace – all was well, so it seemed, until the collapse of the financial industry that lead to the Great Depression of the early 1930’s.

In 1920-1921 there was an acute recession, followed by the prolonged recovery throughout the 1920’s. A branch of the federal government called the Federal Reserve expanded credit, by setting below market interest rates and low reserve requirements that favored big banks, and the money supply actual increased by about 60% during the time following the recession. The phrase “buying on margin” entered the American vocabulary at this time as more and more Americans over-extended themselves to take advantage of the soaring stock market and expanding credit.

In 1929, however, Federal Reserve officials realized that they could not sustain the current policy of easy credit. When the Fed started to raise interest rates, the whole house of cards collapsed. The Stock Market crashed and the bank panics began. (Wikipedia)

The evil empires of the world had been defeated, the UN (League of Nations) was formed, Israel was reborn and in a very short time, we went from a booming economy to a devastating depression. You can see why many asked during that time, ‘are we living in the end times?’

What rose out of the ashes of this depression was more uglier and evil, than what preceded it…WWII.

It wasn’t enough that 40 million perished during WWI, but here was a war with more modern weaponry, more deadly than ever before since the dawn of mankind – and in it’s wake left over 70 million people throughout the world dead.

Fast forward to today and you can see a very eery parallel developing that started with 9/11, a brief recession, followed by war and a booming economy – leading to a global economic collapse of the banking system.

Now, as before, many are asking “are we in the end times?”

Or are we just experiencing more of the world’s birth pangs, leading up to the times of the end?

In Jeremiah 30:5-7, the Lord says: “For so says the LORD, We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. Ask now, and see whether a man is giving birth? Why do I see every man with his hands on his loins, like a woman in labor, and all faces are turned into paleness? Alas! For that day is great, so that none is like it; it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. “

Though space does not permit me to explain the history of Jacob, whose name was turned to Israel, one must understand that Jacob had twelve sons that eventually split into two Kingdoms, the Kingdom of Israel and the Kingdom of Judah. The Kingdom of Judah comprised of two tribes (sons) are the modern day Jewish people, now called Israel.

Bible prophecy (Ezekiel) tells us that one day in the future, all 12 tribes of Jacob (Israel) will once again be re-united and joined together, dwelling in peace in the Holy Land.

Ezekiel 37:16-22  And you, son of man, take a stick and write on it, For Judah and for his companions, the sons of Israel. And take another stick and write on it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and all the house of Israel, his companions.  And join them to one another into one stick. And they shall become one in your hand.  And when the sons of your people shall speak to you, saying, Will you not declare to us what these mean to you? Say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions, and I will put them with him, with the stick of Judah, and will make them one stick, and they shall be one in My hand. And the sticks on which you write shall be in your hand before their eyes. And say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and will gather them on every side, and will bring them into their own land.  And I will make them one nation in the land on the mountains of Israel, and one King shall be king to them all. And they shall not still be two nations, nor shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

But where are the other 10 nations or descendants of Jacob living now?

They are scattered throughout the world, but predominantly they can be identified by the blessings given by Jacob (in Genesis 48) and later by Moses (in Deuteronomy 33); as the nations of Great Britain, some European nations and America.

Now, look at which nations of the world are entering into the most severe economic recessions and soon to be depressions today and you will see what is meant by the “times of Jacob’s troubles”.

These nations, because they have been given so much by God and at one time acknowledged God for His blessings – have forsaken Him and thus are reaping the consequences of their actions.

This my friends, as these Westernized nations struggle to feed their own people, will lead once again to a rise of evil in the world unlike any before it. Out of the ashes of this global economy collapse will rise a new world government, with a world economic system and for a time, it will bring about a booming economy, but the end result will be total control of all peoples, by a world dictatorship – where no one will be able to buy or sell without their allegiance.

Already Ireland is on the verge of collapse, as is Britain, soon to be followed by many other nations around the world.

Bible prophecy calls this “the times of the Gentile nations” – those who have not descended from Jacob, which is why you see the oil rich nations flourishing or not suffering as much, along with the nations of India, China and even Russia.

Unfortunately, mankind has not learned how to govern himself, nor has he learned how to live in peace with his neighbors – for since the beginning, he has rejected the one true source of peace and prosperity, reaping what he has sown throughout history.

Thankfully, we have a loving God, who for the sake of His elect, will cut short mankind’s self-destruction and established a true One World Government, based on His laws and principles, a Government for the people, but not by the people, an everlasting Government. There will be no more elections, no more corruption, greed and bribery, no more power brokers – but instead true peace and prosperity – where every man, woman and child will enjoy the fruits of their labors and live together in peace.

Isaiah 9:6-7  For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be on His shoulder; and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. There is no end of the increase of His government and peace on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it and to establish it with judgment and with justice from now on, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of Hosts will do this.

Are we in the end times yet?

We are close, but as the scriptures say:

Matthew 24:14-16,22  This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.  “When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the sake of the chosen ones, those days will be shortened.”

And in…

Matthew 24:32-37  “Now from the fig tree learn this parable. When its branch has now become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that the summer is near. Even so you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Most certainly I tell you, this generation will not pass away, until all these things are accomplished. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.  “As the days of Noah were, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and they didn’t know until the flood came, and took them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.”

Watch and be mindful of the times we are in and make sure you are right with God, do not be caught unaware or unprepared and be swept away as the unbelievers were in the times of Noah.

May we all be found worthy to escape these things and to stand before God and finally begin a new world order, that should have been from the beginning of man’s creation.

“And it shall be, if you will not listen to the voice of the LORD your God, to observe and to do all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, all these curses shall come on you and overtake you. The stranger within you shall get up above you very high, and you shall come down very low.
He shall loan to you, and you shall not loan to him. He shall be the head, and you shall be the tail.
And all these curses shall come on you, and shall pursue you and overtake you, until you are destroyed, because you did not listen to the voice of the LORD your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you.” (Deut 28:15, 43-45)

This prophecy is a warning to our nation!

This week, the U.S. Money System was on the verge of collapse and now the Federal Reserve owns the majority of all home mortgages as well as AIG insurance company and continues to tighten it’s control on our freedom, the way we conduct business and our very lives.

Federal Reserve historian Allan Meltzer said U.S. government efforts to cleanse financial institutions of troubled loans shouldn’t be financed by taxpayers.

“I certainly don’t think this is the taxpayers’ problem,” said Meltzer, a professor of political economy at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. “This is not a place exactly with a great big surplus that can afford to do these things. This is social democracy at its worst.”

“Your country is desolate. Your cities are burned with fire. Strangers devour your land in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.” (Isa 1:7)

In the past year we have seen the greatest transfer of wealth out of America and into foreign hands. Our land has been devoured right before our eyes and we have been helpless to stop it and is only the beginning of our woes.

Today, the stock market is applauding more government intervention, most people not having a clue of where this is leading as we relinquish more control.

It is nothing short of one more step to more government control towards socialism as more financial institutions and systems begin to consolidate.

Why are we here? Because we have forsaken our God and in so doing, what does He say to us?

“….your rulers are rebellious, and companions of thieves; everyone loves a bribe, and is pursuing rewards; they do not judge the orphan, nor does the cause of the widow come to them. ” (Isa 1:23)

America has lost her way, she has forsaken her heritage and high calling – she has rejected her roots and birth, she has rejected the One who made her what she once was.

Chaff and weeds have grown up among the wheat and have choked them out, have weakened the strength of the country and we the people have allowed unrighteous leaders to rise up and dig up the very roots of it’s foundation, a foundation based on Godly principles and morals.

Sin overwhelms us, the pride of the eyes, the lusts of the flesh and the arrogance of going our own way and rejecting God have caused putrefying sores to fester and swell to the point that they have become a deep rooted cancer that can only be cured by a miracle, a miracle of national repentance and return to God.

There is no separation of Church and State, never was – it is a man-ordained, evil mis-interpretation of the Constitution to allow ungodly men to remove God out of our society, so as to rule over us with their immoral ideologies, lusts and greed.

It is time for use to Stand Up!….as Americans, as the moral majority and as God fearing people!

It is time to tear down the walls of oppression and return to a righteous nation, how imperfect that is to be – but we are the last great hope of the world and we are falling faster than Rome before it burned!

“Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes; cease to do evil; learn to do good; seek judgment, reprove the oppressor. Judge the orphan, plead for the widow.” (Isa 1:16-17)

It begins with us – the Judeo-Christians of not only America, but in every nation in the world who feel they are grafted into the House of Israel.

Pray for our leaders, serve others instead of yourself, cry aloud and spare not, let your righteousness be seen among men!

Every generation has gone through times of turmoil – from the wars of Independence, in the Civil War, the Great Depression, the World Wars, Korea and Vietnam, the Gulf Wars – and now the morality wars.

“For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Eph 6:12)

Do you believe this – or are you asleep in a cocoon, believing all will be fine.

Look around you, are you comfortable living in a world of sin, of death, of violence and uncertainty?

Remove the sleep from your eyes – for the world you are about to wake up to, may not be the world you went to sleep to.

Many are buying gold and silver, thinking it will save them from monetary collapse – I too once thought of doing that, for we are to wise and store up our goods for winter, but the prophet Ezekiel tells us….

“My eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will bring on you according to your ways; and your abominations shall be in the midst of you; and you shall know that I, the LORD, do strike.
The sword is outside, and the pestilence and the famine within: he who is in the field shall die with the sword: and he who is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be as an unclean thing; their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels; because it has been the stumbling block of their iniquity.
Ruin comes; and they shall seek peace, but none shall be.
Disaster on disaster shall come, and rumor to rumor shall be. And they shall seek a vision from the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and wisdom from the elders.
The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with despair, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled. I will do to them according to their way, and according to their judgments I will judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.” (Eze 7:9-27)

So what are we to do in these troubling time,

1. Pray without ceasing,

2. Self-Examine yourself and turn to God with all your heart and being,

3. Trust in Him and use wisdom to prepare as best you can in case times get worse, just as you would for a coming hurricane, you can see it weeks ahead of time – but when it lands, it lands hard and if you’re not ready, you’re caught off guard and sometimes your very life is in danger.

“And it shall be, in the last days the mountain of LORD’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow into it.
And many people shall go and say, Come, and let us go to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. And He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths. For out of Zion shall go out the Law, and the Word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.” (Isa 2:2-4)

This is our hope, change is coming – until then, keep the faith.
